Dear Students,
The importance of Pilotage and Air Traffic Control, one of the most popular professions of the age, is greater today than it was yesterday. Today, we fly with flight systems with the highest level of technical competence, and we use technological opportunities at the highest level in every component of avionics such as communication, guidance, control and navigation technologies, remote sensing, and evaluation systems within these systems. As a natural result, we develop systems with greater complexity but superior capabilities over time. In the aviation industry, where technological advances occur most rapidly, the need for successful pilots and air traffic controllers who can successfully design and manage these products is increasing day by day.
Today's problems waiting to be solved are more than yesterday's, and the complexity of today's problems is much higher. However, today's Pilot and Air Traffic Controller candidates have much greater opportunities to access information and convert information into products than in the past. At Turkish Aeronautical Association University Faculty of Air Transport, we invite innovative and creative Pilot and Air Traffic Controller candidates who pursue their dreams can transform knowledge into products, to work together.
Our Faculty consists of faculty members whose academic careers are full of success, and we have faculty members and flight training team who specialize in all branch sub-fields. Aiming to produce publications of high quality and scientific impact, our academic staff has adopted the principle of integrating these publications with experimental findings and has proven the importance it attaches to experimental studies with the projects it has carried out in the past with funding organizations such as the European Union, TÜBİTAK and DPT. Our departments, which reflect the importance of the experimental dimension in education in the curriculum with both the Integrated Education program and almost all applied courses, also fulfill the technical composition conditions stipulated by the accreditation bodies accepted in Turkey and the world (EASA, JAA, FAA, DGCA), and ensure that our graduates are accepted to universities in Europe and America. It allows them to continue their postgraduate studies easily. In our Faculty, which will allow our students to go abroad through Erasmus and bilateral cooperation agreements, students have the opportunity to focus their academic competence on a certain field by taking elective courses when they reach their senior year.
Turkish Aeronautical Association University Faculty of Air Transport, which aims to be a leader in aviation and space sciences, is a university that pursues its dreams in the future as well as in the past, has a strong analytical infrastructure, has a strong command of information and communication technologies, and has a strong knowledge of information and communication technologies, with its distinguished faculty members, scientific and industrial projects, quality publications and strong industrial relations.
